Suffolk County Council's Learning Disability and Autism Service is committed to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism. As a Senior Practitioner - Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in leading the development of the occupational therapy offer and ensuring that it is delivered effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of the occupational therapy offer for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism
  • Supervise and support occupational therapists to deliver high-quality services
  • Collaborate with colleagues to build a strong occupational therapy offer that meets the needs of our clients
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are in place to promote best practice in occupational therapy
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a passion for improving the lives of adults with learning disabilities and a commitment to developing skills and those of their colleagues. A competitive salary of £38,223 per annum (pro rata if part-time) reflects the importance of this role in supporting our clients.
