Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Service Manager to oversee the smooth running of one of our services in Ipswich, Suffolk. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading care specialist who provide support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities
  • Motivate and inspire teams to provide outstanding support through effective training, coaching, and leadership by example.
  • Act as a role model and leader in the delivery of active support, empowering individuals to have active and fulfilling lives aligned with their needs and aspirations.
  • Work collaboratively with the Service Leadership Team to oversee and manage the service, including rostering, support plans, staff deployment, and managing budgets.
Requirements
  • Empathetic, compassionate, and patient individual with experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviour.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
