Your primary objective will be to deliver exceptional customer service by representing our company in a professional manner at all times. This includes driving vehicles safely and legally, adhering to all legal and company requirements, and ensuring that all products are transported safely to the customers' premises.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Representing DX in a professional manner at all times
  • Driving vehicles in a safe and legal manner, ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements
  • Undertaking daily checks to ensure defects are immediately reported and correct paperwork is completed
  • Scanning all products using DX scanning equipment
  • Loading deliveries safely prior to leaving the depot
  • Observing DX procedures and policies at all times
  • Managing routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved
  • Maintaining correct equipment and PPE (personal protective equipment) in good order and using it at all times
  • Reporting delivery and on-road issues to the traffic office immediately
  • Ensuring customers receive deliveries in excellent condition every time
  • Dealing with customer issues in a polite and effective manner
  • Collections are made in line with given instructions and times

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must hold a C1 or above license with a valid DQC and Tacho card. A maximum of 6 points on your license and no bans are also essential. Additionally, you must take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, have the ability to build rapport with customers, and be committed to working as part of a team.

Benefits:

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of £30,000 + £100 per week attendance bonus. You will also be entitled to 20 days of annual leave increasing with length of service, bank holidays, and other benefits including life assurance, employee assistance programs, and pension scheme.
