Sales Account Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Sales Account Coordinator to join our Sales Team on a permanent contract.
This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success, developing positive relationships with customers, and generating new business opportunities.
The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver excellent consultative advice to improve the customer experience and their business to generate sales, and will have a proven track record of working in an internal Sales Coordinator role.
The company offers a competitive starting salary of £35,000 per annum, a Performance Profit Related Bonus (PPRB) of around 8% of salary paid annually, and a range of other benefits including up to 29 days annual leave, 5% pension contribution, and private medical cover.
In return, the company is looking for someone who is committed to ongoing learning and training, has excellent attention to detail, and is able to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success by developing positive relationships with customers.
- Follow up samples and quotations, converting these to sales.
- Ensure accounts are constantly aware of active promotions available, follow up and generate new business through own initiative, social media and marketing activity to increase sales.
- Manage a dedicated Area Sales Managers diary; use internal tools and systems to manage the day-to-day running of your data, ensuring systems are maintained and updated at all times.
- Liaise with other departments including Transport, Accounts, Marketing, Laboratory and Production.
