Advanced Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Clinical Lead for Mental Health Support Teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the assessment, formulation, and intervention plans for children, young people, and families supported by our MHSTs.
Main Responsibilities:- Work in partnership with schools to support children and young people in the context of mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
- Undertake accurate risk assessments for self and others.
- Design, adapt, and modify clinical materials to meet the needs of different clinical populations.
- Conduct joint specialist mental health assessments and interventions for schools, parents, and children with EMHP supervisees.
- Support the strategic and practical development of the MHST initiative within the service and wider children's mental health system.
- Hold a current and in-date core professional registration in Clinical/Educational/Counselling Psychology, CBT Therapy, or Family Therapy.
- Professional training in an evidence-based therapeutic approach applicable to working with children, young people, and families.
- Experience working with children, young people, and their parents/carers presenting with a range of mental health difficulties and challenging behavior.
- Experience of whole school approaches to emotional wellbeing and mental health.
This is a permanent full-time position, with flexible working arrangements available. The successful candidate will be required to travel efficiently throughout the area.
Salary and Benefits:The salary for this position is £53,755 to £60,504 per annum pro rata, with a comprehensive benefits package including a pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
