About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Application Support Officer to join our team at Bernicia. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day support for key applications, troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues, and perform regular system checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for users across the business
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues
  • Perform regular system checks and maintenance
  • Assist in the implementation and configuration of new applications and software updates
  • Develop and maintain documentation for application processes and procedures

About You:

  • Proven working experience in an application support role (12 months minimum)
  • Knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write and execute queries
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
