About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable healthcare professional to join our Pre-Assessment team at Wansbeck General Hospital. As a Clinical Assistant, you will assist and support the Pre-Assessment nurse specialists and consultants to deliver high standards of direct patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist and support the Pre-Assessment nurse specialists and consultants to deliver high standards of direct patient care
  • Regularly perform ECG, venepuncture, swabs, and observations for patients undergoing elective surgery under GA
  • Provide assistance and support to patients, carers, and the multi-disciplinary team
  • Maintain high clinical standards
  • Help maintain a clean and safe department environment
