**Join Protocol Education as a Care Support Worker in a Special Needs School**
Are you a qualified teaching assistant with experience in the care sector looking to make a meaningful impact in special needs education? This opportunity allows you to apply your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
You'll have the chance to work in schools that cater to students at the primary, secondary, and post-16 levels, each with their unique needs. As a Care Support Worker, you'll provide one-to-one support and work with entire classes, making a tangible difference in the lives of the students you support.
**Your Key Responsibilities Include:**
- Developing sensory awareness and enhancing motor skills in students.
- Providing individualised care as per care plans and supporting students' physical and emotional needs.
- Teaching vocabulary and fostering speech and language development in students with diverse needs.
- Facilitating creative lessons such as art, cooking, music, and dance to promote social and cognitive growth.
**Key Details:**
- Full-time Position: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 4:00 PM).
- Contract: Secure a year-long contract with potential for extension.
- One-to-One Support: Provide personalised support for students with diverse needs.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work alongside dedicated teachers and staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Residential Opportunities: Option to work in the school's residential centre for a more immersive experience.
