Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Academic Support Specialist to join our team at Brook Street UK. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing learning mentor support to students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaising with Teaching Staff: You will work closely with teaching staff on a daily basis to ensure effective implementation of support strategies and assessments.
  • Assessment and Review: Assist in the detailed assessment and monitoring of student support strategies, ensuring that each student receives tailored guidance and resources.
  • Supporting Students: Provide academic support to students with various learning difficulties, disabilities, emotional, and behavior needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: A relevant degree or equivalent experience in education, special educational needs, or a related field is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to work effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  • Discretion and Confidentiality: The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly is crucial in this role.
