About the Role:
As an Internal Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and developing relationships with intermediaries within your allocated region. Your primary objective will be to promote our lending products to new and lapsed businesses, while also handling key account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, manage, and develop relationships with introducers to achieve new business targets
- Support Business Development Managers with all mortgage and loan case management for broker partners and accounts
- Identify suitable firms to work with regional Business Development Managers
- Ensure accurate reporting and CRM system updates, recording discussions and activities
- Keep intermediaries informed about new products and features
- Handle new business inquiries and communicate with introducers
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales is highly desirable
- Experience in 2nd charge or residential lending is essential
- Ability to build successful relationships
- Ability to multitask to ensure Service Level Agreements are met
- Confidence to pursue leads and overcome objections
- Self-motivated and a strong desire to succeed
