At Avery Healthcare, we believe in providing exceptional care to our residents. As an Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high standards of personal care and contributing to the care team to ensure continuity of services.

About the Role

Your primary focus will be to assist residents with their personal hygiene needs, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect at all times. This includes recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and infections, and escalating any identified risks in a timely manner.

  • You will act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.
  • You will practice safe systems of work across various tasks.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must live by our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. While experience is not required, we offer a thorough induction and training program to ensure confidence in your role.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Show adaptability and flexibility to cover various responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will require:

  • A DBS Disclosure check, which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Estimated Salary: £19,500 - £21,000 per annum (dependent on location). We offer a range of benefits, including access to leisure and retail discounts, apprenticeships, and career development opportunities.
