This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who would like to develop their skills in sales and purchase ledgers. As a key member of our professional accounts team, you will report to the Ledger's Supervisor and be part of a busy and interesting finance department.

Responsibilities include:

  • Posting invoices and payments onto the purchase ledger system
  • Recording payments from clients and other bank transactions
  • Processing expenses and credit cards
  • Preparing and recording miscellaneous sales invoices
  • Handling general administrative tasks related to the accounting department
  • Liaising with suppliers, clients, and internal departments regarding financial transactions
  • Assisting with management accounts in other month-end tasks
  • Collating invoice samples for external auditors as required

As the ideal candidate, you will:

  • Have proven experience as an Account Clerk or in a similar role
  • Have good numeracy skills
  • Be able to work well in a team and independently
  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels
  • Have strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Be organised and focused with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Be committed, enthusiastic, and have a desire to learn
  • Have initiative and the ability to adapt to changing environments and workloads
