Experienced Data Entry Clerk/purchase Ledger

Overview:
**Duties**:
- Managing the accounts inbox efficiently
- Entering purchase ledger invoices into QuickBooks within two business days of receipt.
- Managing the approval of invoices including resolving any queries that may occur.
- Processing monthly direct debit invoices.
- Reconciliation of the purchase ledger accounts to supplier statements.
- Preparation of payment runs to produce the payment file.
- Assisting with the year end Audit.
- Ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies
Please note that this position requires strong computer skills, including the ability to type quickly and accurately. Prior experience in data entry or administrative roles is preferred.
