Cawood have an opportunity for a **Cawood** **Purchasing & Inventory Assistant** on a **full-time permanent basis**, based in **Bracknell**.

Main objective is to manage NRM stock and monitor KPI’s to ensure total availability of products for laboratory operations across the site. To assist the agriculture division around purchasing, stock, and inventory requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- To create and administer NRM’s purchase orders, and to achieve approval for orders for NRM and its satellite operations using Microsoft 365 ERP system.
- Receipting in goods and services into D365.
- To negotiate with suppliers and RFQ to achieve best price outcomes.
- Analyse pricing and assist Purchasing Manager providing purchasing data.
- Travel to Ag divisions on monthly basis to support purchasing teams and to assist with stocktaking duties.
- To take out monthly stocktakes and report results for Agriculture divisions.
- Work closely with the accounts dept. and support PL with ordering queries.
- Manage the e-expenses and report monthly.
- Work with and assist in the management of NRM’s store facility when necessary.
- Assist with all invoice queries and help rectify any discrepancies.
- Deputise for the AG Purchasing Manager to help with enquiries.

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- Ideally, two years’ minimum experience in a purchasing environment
- Experience in meeting deadlines, achieving lead times and sourcing quality products.
- Experience of stock takes and KPI monitoring.
- Able to create good supplier relationships.
- Strong Communication Skills
- Strong knowledge in using the Microsoft office suite, especially excel.
- Strong writing and presentations skills
- Working knowledge of purchasing systems
- Full driving license
- We are open to training someone from a customer facing role who has database experience and shows a keen interest in developing a new career.
