Child and Family Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child and Family Support Professional to join our team at Dorset Council. This exciting opportunity will involve working closely with young people and their families to provide comprehensive support and care.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing Care Act assessments and care and support plans for young people, as well as other associated activities such as MCA assessments and Best Interest Meetings.
This part-time role offers the flexibility to work from home and can be based in a location that suits your needs. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working in a strengths-based approach across health, social care, SEND, and education.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Social Work or Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You must also be able to meet the travel requirements of the post.
If you are a qualified social worker who has completed their training after September 2012, you may need to undertake an Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) and meet the expected standards during this period.
