Advanced Pharmacist Specialist

- Deliver high-level clinical pharmacy input for critical care patients.
- Work as an independent prescriber to optimize medicine regimes for critical care patients.
- Contribute to the provision of a clinical pharmacy service to other wards in the event of annual leave and sickness.
- Lead the development of clinical pharmacy standards across the trust for critical care patients.
- Work with the team leader to operational manage and strategically develop pharmaceutical services.

- Postgraduate diploma in pharmacy practice or equivalent.
- Registered as a non-medical prescriber.
- Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
- Relevant post-registration experience in hospital pharmacy.
- Supervision of staff.
- Training of pre-registration pharmacists and junior staff.
- Project management and report writing.
- Experience in writing policies and guidelines.
Permanent, full-time, part-time, job share, flexible working, compressed hours, term time hours, and annualized hours.
Salary\u00a053,755 to \u00a060,504 per annum/pro rata.
LocationThe Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.
