Advanced Pharmacist for Community Services

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services in a rehabilitation setting?
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Specialist Pharmacist to join our team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our Pharmacy Department, you will work collaboratively with Shropshire Community Health Trust to provide expert clinical pharmacy input to patients in the rehabilitation and recovery setting.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver high-level clinical pharmacy input to patients in the rehabilitation and recovery setting.
- Work as an independent prescriber to optimize medicine regimes for patients in the rehabilitation and recovery setting.
- Lead the development of Clinical Pharmacy standards across the Trust for patients in the rehabilitation and recovery setting.
- Be a clinical co-ordinator or tutor for the Keele University Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy.

- Honours Degree in Pharmacy / MPharm.
- Registered Independent Prescriber.
- Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
- Relevant post-registration experience in hospital pharmacy.
- Experience of supervision of staff.
- Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience of training of foundation year trainee pharmacists and junior staff.
- Experience in writing policies/guidelines.
