Exciting Opportunity for a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive registered pharmacist to join our Critical Care Pharmacy Team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. As a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, you will work collaboratively with the Critical Care Clinical team to develop and deliver a safe and effective clinical pharmacy service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-level clinical pharmacy input for Critical Care patients
  • Work as an independent prescriber to optimize medicine regimes
  • Contribute to the provision of a clinical pharmacy service to other wards
  • Lead the development of Clinical Pharmacy standards for Critical Care patients
  • Work with the Team Leader - Clinical Services & Governance (Surgery and Anaesthetics) on operational management and strategic development

Person Specification
  • Honours Degree in Pharmacy / MPharm
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent
  • Registered as a non-medical prescriber
  • Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society
