We are seeking a highly skilled General Practitioner to join our team at HMP Lewes, a category B remand prison in East Sussex. As a General Practitioner in this role, you will be responsible for delivering clinical sessions and completing ward rounds on the inpatient unit. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality healthcare to a diverse group of patients, including those with long-term conditions.
  • Act as a specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team, providing clinical governance and effectiveness support.
  • Participate in clinical governance and effectiveness activities to improve patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • MBChB or MBBS degree and inclusion on the GMC Register.
  • Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice.
