We are seeking a Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Practice Plus Group, a leading provider of healthcare services in secure environments. As a General Practitioner with experience working in community general practice, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients' requirements, prescribing medications as needed, and reviewing medications and monitoring repeat prescriptions. You will also work closely with other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team to provide high-quality care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients' requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management
  • Prescribing for patients, regularly review medications and monitor repeat prescriptions
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements
  • MBChB or MBBS degree and inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List
  • Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal
  • Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
  • Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
