Supporting Healthcare Access in Secure Environments

We are looking for a skilled Bank Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at HMP Lewes, contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to patients in a secure environment.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a non-judgmental approach, and experience working in a hospital, community or prison environment. You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and assembly of medicines under the direction of the Responsible Pharmacist.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the safe and secure administration of medicines
  • Support the pharmacy team in managing stock medicines
  • Collect orders from suppliers and arrange collection of returns

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills/equivalent or working towards *
  • Medicines handling experience desirable not essential
  • Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent
