A highly skilled General Practitioner is sought to join our team at HMP Lewes, a category B remand prison based in East Sussex. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare to a diverse patient population, including those with long-term conditions. Main Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population of patients, including those with long-term conditions. Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients' requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to provide specialist support and advice. Contribute to clinical governance and effectiveness activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Person Specification
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced General Practitioner who is able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and will be able to work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team. Essential qualifications include MBChB or MBBS, inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List, and evidence of engagement with annual appraisal. Desirable qualifications include experience working as a General Practitioner in a community general practice setting and a RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2. The ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse is essential.
