The Project

Our client is the largest UK water-only supplier, providing on average 950 million litres of water each day to a population of more than 3.89 million people in the wider North London area and beyond. Their purpose is to deliver a long-term sustainable supply of high-quality water, while protecting the environment for their communities, now and in the future.

Your Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of identified capital, infrastructure, or water network management projects with a focus on safe delivery to budget, schedule, and quality output. You will manage directly and liaise with others to ensure project timescales are met, procure and manage consultant expertise, and oversee the management of construction project design, estimation, and project planning and delivery.

  • Procure and manage consultant expertise across a multidisciplinary set of skills.
  • Oversee the management of construction project design, estimation, and project planning and delivery.
  • Be accountable for the management of project control, including resourcing and service delivery requirements.
  • Review contractors' costs submissions and advise on sign-off.
  • Monitor and report on forecast and project out-turn cost.
  • Provide day-to-day management of construction service providers for capital projects.
  • Supervise project closeout activities, including commissioning and handover to operations and maintenance.

Requirements

  • A degree qualification in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering and related project management discipline.
  • Knowledge of NEC 3 and 4 suite of contracts and CDM 2015.
  • Experience in the water sector or a regulated industry with at least 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Full UK driving license.
