Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our team at a primary school in the Accrington area. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs and a strong commitment to delivering effective intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement tailored intervention programmes for students with SEN, ensuring each child receives the support they need to thrive.
* Work closely with classroom teachers to identify children requiring additional support.
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of individual learners.
* Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to supporting students.
* Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary.
* Maintain up-to-date records of pupil progress and contribute to individual education plans (IEPs).

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
* A passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Patience, creativity, and adaptability in your teaching methods.

Desirable:

* Additional qualifications in SEN or experience in a specialist SEN environment.
