About the Role

Red - Specialist Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operational Technology Manager to join our client in Gourock, Scotland. As an Operational Technology Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and implementation of diverse Operational Technology and Cyber Security measures specifically for vessel maintenance and operations.

The successful candidate will have experience within maritime or similar industry, capable of exercising sound judgement in both proactive and reactive condition analytic techniques. Proficient in Operational Technology or Cyber Security management, with Marine Operational Technology or experience that includes security for Industrial Automation and Control Systems being desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Innovation: Develop and implement strategies to fully exploit Operational Technology for vessel engineering equipment, including utilising the latest Operational Technology to support the analysis of material condition and operational profile of vessels.
  2. Cyber Security Champion: Serve as the primary point of contact for all Cyber Security matters related to Operational Technology, working closely with our IT Department to safeguard our systems.
  3. Enhance Operational Excellence: Utilise the latest OT tools and techniques to optimize the performance and reliability of our vessels.

Requirements:

  • Experience within maritime or similar industry, capable of exercising sound judgement in both proactive and reactive condition analytic techniques.
  • Proficient in Operational Technology or Cyber Security management.
  • Be able to demonstrate strong budget management experience with the ability to employ cost control techniques.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary of £52,000 per annum.
