Maritime Infrastructure Site Manager Job Description

This challenging role as a Maritime Clerk of Works/Site Supervisor requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the construction, repair, and maintenance of maritime infrastructure in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, as well as expertise in marine construction and NEC contract administration.

The role involves site supervision, ensuring that all work adheres to project specifications, safety regulations, and high-quality standards. You will also be responsible for NEC contract compliance, health & safety, communication & coordination, and reporting. As a key member of the project team, you will liaise between contractors, project teams, and clients, providing technical guidance and attending regular site meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor construction activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, safety standards, and conduct inspections to track progress and quality.
  2. Ensure all work aligns with NEC contract terms, manage communication, handle compensation events, and support contract administration.
  3. Enforce safety regulations and conduct site safety inspections, addressing any concerns promptly.
  4. Liaise between contractors, project teams, and clients, providing technical guidance and attending regular site meetings.
  5. Maintain detailed site records and prepare regular progress and issue reports.
