Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Superintendent (LNG) to join our team in Glasgow. This is a permanent position offering an excellent package.

The successful candidate will provide HSEQ support and guidance to the Fleet and Operations Team, ensuring compliance with all agreed external management system standards, including ISM Code, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and MLC & CMS.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Treat Health, Safety, Security, and Environment as top priority.
  • Act as Deputy Designated Person Ashore (DDPA) for the company.
  • Monitor compliance with international maritime regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Drive Standards in all HSEQ matters in line with company purpose and values.
  • Review internal and external audit reports and ensure effective closure of findings.
  • Effectively monitor and follow up on incidents and near-miss reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of international maritime regulations and safety codes.
  • Certificate of Competency at Class 2 Unlimited or equivalent degree in maritime.
  • Certificate in Marine Incident Investigation.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in marine industry HSEQ practices.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.

This role requires the right to work in the UK.
