About UsOur company is a leading player in the LNG transportation industry, and we're looking for an experienced HSEQ Superintendent to join our team. As a global shipping company, we operate with the highest standards of health, safety, security, and environmental protection.
Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled professional to provide support and guidance to our Fleet and Operations Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maritime regulations, safety codes, and quality management systems.
Main Responsibilities:- Act as Deputy Designated Person Ashore (DDPA) for the company.
- Monitor compliance with ISM Code, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, MLC & CMS.
- Drive HSEQ standards in line with company purpose and values.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills and experience in marine industry HSEQ practices, marine incident investigation, and auditing. A Certificate of Competency at Class 2 Unlimited or equivalent degree in maritime is required, along with a Certificate in Marine Incident Investigation. Sea-going experience as an Officer on an Oil tanker or Gas tanker is preferred.
What We Offer:- An estimated salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
