About the Role

As a Marine Personnel Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our maritime business. You will be responsible for coordinating officer and crew inductions, managing crew rotations, and maintaining accurate records. Your excellent communication and organizational skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders, including Recruitment teams, seafarers, and manning agencies.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Rotation Planning: Coordinate crew rotations and manage changes with agents and vessels.
  2. Crew Management: Ensure that all crew members have the necessary documentation before boarding vessels.
  3. Staff Sourcing: Source additional staff requirements to meet business needs.
  4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, including employment contracts and joining instructions.
  5. Financial Management: Process monthly payroll and request funding from accounts.
  6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations regarding crew endorsements and tax.
  7. Invoice Review: Review and approve coded invoices for travel and manning agencies.
  8. Communication: Communicate rotation plans with clients, follow up with existing officers and crew, and maintain relationships with manning agencies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • At least 3 years' experience in a reputable cruise manning company (Preferred).
  • Sea-going experience on a cruise ship (Preferred).
  • Educational qualification - 4-year course graduate, business or maritime (Preferred).
  • Experience of crewing in cruise industry, STCW documentation, fair knowledge in accounting, budgets, and OPEXs.
  • A high level of competency in using MS applications and data entry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and work ethic.
