We are seeking an experienced Maritime HSE Professional to join our team at Red The Consultancy. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of £85,000 - £105,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental protection across our fleet. You will work closely with our Operations Team to drive HSE excellence, promote a culture of safety, and continually improve our HSE performance.

  • Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective HSE strategies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with seafarers, shore-based staff, and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on HSE performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as maritime science, health and safety, or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the maritime industry.
  • Proven expertise in HSE regulations, laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently, potentially up to 50% of the time.
