Job Overview: Teaching Assistant for Special Needs School

GSL Education is seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant to join our team in Special Needs Schools around Birmingham & Oldbury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and SEN requirements.
  • Delivering 1:1 behaviour support and implementing strategies to engage students.
  • Providing nurture support and acting as a positive role model.
  • Assisting with numeracy and literacy booster sessions.

Salary Information: The salary range for this position is £83-£87 per day, depending on experience.

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant – Level 2 Qualification or similar.
  • Enhanced DBS Child and Adult Check – Must be on the update service.
  • 2 x professional references.
