About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Domestic Abuse Early Responder. This dynamic role requires a collaborative and target-driven professional with experience in working with perpetrators and victims of domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with DA perpetrators in police custody to discuss their offending behaviour and provide support to promote positive change and reduce risks. Develop DA offender risk management plans based on assessments and ensure that the perpetrator understands the consequences of their actions.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Experience of completing risk assessments and safeguarding victims, children, and families
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of risk factors associated with perpetrators of domestic abuse and up-to-date housing, criminal, civil, and welfare rights legislation
