Job Title: PMLD Specialist Support Staff

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to work with children and young people with complex needs in a Special Needs Secondary School in Oldbury. The ideal candidate will have a calm and empathetic nature, a resilient personality, and be able to use their own initiative to support the children's learning needs. The role will involve working on a 1-1 or small groups basis, developing and nurturing positive relationships with the children and staff. The successful candidate will have a high level of understanding and patience to support the complex needs of these children. If you have a passion for helping and supporting children with additional needs, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and staff
- Support children's learning needs on a 1-1 or small groups basis
- Use own initiative to support children's learning
- Work closely with staff to ensure the children's needs are met
