Support Worker Needed
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team and support a 16-year-old young person in the Northampton area.
The ideal candidate will have a youthful outlook, a range of interests, and an ability to enthuse others.
An understanding of brain injury and autism would be advantageous.
Previous experience working with young people with additional needs is essential.
The successful candidate will be expected to use their vehicle to transport our client, so a full driving licence with access to a vehicle with business use car insurance is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the young person in their independence skills, such as cooking and household tasks.
- Assist with socialising and expanding their range of hobbies and social interests.
- Support the young person in their academic work.
Working Hours:
8 hours per week, 2 x 4 hour shifts.
Rate of Pay:
£18.00 per hour.
