Northamptonshire Children's Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Support Worker to join its Adoption Recruitment, Assessment and Family Finding Team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the task of family finding for children with a plan for adoption in the care of the Trust. This will involve working closely with the adoption team to develop and implement effective strategies to find permanent families for children.

In addition to working closely with the adoption team, the Family Support Worker will also be responsible for undertaking direct work with children and families in preparation for transitions, and working with multi-agency colleagues in arranging Life Appreciation Days.

The salary for this part-time role is approximately £23,500 per annum, plus benefits.
