About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Fundraising and Events Coordinator. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sustainability of our organization through fundraising and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify new funding opportunities, grants, and income streams to support the organization's financial health.
  • Collaborate with leadership, managers, and staff to develop and write funding bids, proposals, and reports.
  • Work closely with local youth centre teams to develop and implement local fundraising plans, including planning and delivering community events.
  • Manage and attend events, including evenings and weekends, to engage with stakeholders and supporters.
  • Identify and engage with local businesses to develop corporate partnerships and sponsorships that align with the organization's mission and values.
  • Support local fundraising volunteers and work with the volunteer coordinator and social action manager to develop and implement volunteer engagement strategies.

  • Annual leave: 5 weeks for the first 5 years, with additional days depending on length of service (pro-rata'd for part-time roles).
