Devon, United Kingdom Prison Advice and Care Trust Full time

**Bring your talent and experience, and help us deliver the best possible outcomes for people on probation**

At Pact, we want to see prisoners leave the service and go on to live the best possible lives they can with their families and friends and in their communities. Our Mentoring Coordinator is a vital piece of the prisoner support structure across Devon. They prepare prisoners for release and work in partnership with the prisoners themselves and other support networks and organisations to give prisoners the support they need to resettle back into their local communities as successfully as possible. They provide practical help, advice and guidance, as well as essential support for individuals with multiple and complex needs to help them overcome barriers and progress towards better life opportunities.

**About you**:
We are looking for a dynamic self-starter who has a genuine commitment to deliver positive outcomes for people who have been in prison. With your excellent organisational skills, you'll be more than capable of coordinating this broad, multi-stakeholder service. You'll be a rounded communicator, able to inspire and connect with people of all levels and backgrounds. You will of course come with tonnes of practical skills, knowledge and experience: working to KPIs and targets, IT usage including database use and management, experience of working in criminal justice, ideally with prisoners. Above all, we are looking for an empathetic individual who has the energy and the drive to take forward and deliver the high expectations we set ourselves for the people who use our services.

**This is initially a 12-month contract with the possibility of a further 12-month extension.**

**How to apply**:
**Organisation**:
Pact is a highly respected independent charity, working across England and Wales to develop and deliver a range of innovative services. We provide practical and emotional support to prisoner’s children and families, to prisoners and those who have resettled back into the community. Our work is founded on core values, the first of which is a belief in the innate dignity of every human being, and our work focusses on human relationships, family and community. We are committed to achieving high standards of quality in all that we do.

**Other information**:
**A full, clean UK Driving Licence and car will be essential for this role.
