We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEMH teaching assistant to join our team in Tower Hamlets, London. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with SEMH needs.

Job Overview

As a SEMH teaching assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching team to provide support to students with SEMH needs. You will assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans and Behavior Support Plans to address specific student needs.

Your duties will include collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to student support. You will also monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to the teaching team as needed.

This role requires a strong understanding of SEMH, safeguarding, and child protection practices. In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £90-£110 per day, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be proactive, resilient, and able to uphold high standards of the school. You will be required to put the needs of the children at the forefront of what you do, taking into consideration individual special educational needs.
