Job Summary
The Sales Director is a highly visible executive responsible for strategic planning and execution of sales plans to attain revenue outcomes. This role requires a strong leader who can set the strategic direction and agenda in client engagements, while also demonstrating exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a strong business acumen.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth targets and expand the customer base
- Develop strategic account plans, nurturing relationships to drive consistent pipeline growth
- Implement value-based discussions throughout the sales process
- Analyze industry trends and market changes to adapt and improve sales strategies
- Work closely with the marketing and product departments to align efforts and optimize sales potential
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Engage with potential clients and build a high profile in key markets through participation in industry events, networking, and public speaking
- Drive a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in complex solution sales, with a demonstrable track record of success in meeting or exceeding quota
- Experience of selling into the Private Markets (Private Equity, Private Credit or Fund Administration)
- Experience in developing strategic sales plans
- Strong business acumen with expertise in Finance and Private Market Investing
- Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office; familiarity with other sales applications is advantageous
