About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Support Specialist to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will provide technical and administrative support to our Account Manager and coordinate all PPM and reactive works in an efficient and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all billing and prompt processing of reactive, labor, and subcontractor costs
  • Carry out various personnel duties such as holiday and sickness reporting, booking accommodations, and dealing with expenses
  • Ensure all sites are compliant with EFS procedures and policies and issue relevant documents
  • Operate the EMCOR Helpdesk, allocate work to EMCOR site teams, and update client helpdesk with progress
  • Support the Technical and Account Managers
  • Maintain all files, contracts, and IMS
  • Process works in progress paperwork ready for invoicing
  • Produce monthly reports for clients
  • Schedule, plan, and allocate all PPM work for EMCOR and specialist contractors
  • Organize call-outs to subcontractors to carry out repairs
  • Deal with subcontractor inquiries
  • Maintain call-out rotas
  • Pursue the return of all paperwork both internally and externally
  • Check the accuracy of weekly timesheets
  • Write letters as required
  • Deal with in- and out-post

Requirements:

  • Solid experience within a similar role
  • Computer literacy with Word and Excel knowledge
  • A good understanding of the importance of customer service
  • The ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Good all-round knowledge of building services operations
