About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Early Years Apprentice at our Hyde Day Nursery in Barnet, UK. In this role, you'll work closely with experienced staff to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5, while also developing your skills and knowledge as an early years professional.

The nursery is registered for 88 children and offers easy access to local transport links. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the development of children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs, as well as ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the planning and implementation of engaging activities and experiences that promote children's learning and development.
  2. Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
  3. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and contribute to ongoing assessments and evaluations.
  4. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to decision-making processes that impact the nursery's policies and procedures.
  5. Adhere to the statutory framework for the Early Years Curriculum and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in early years education.
