Counsellor/Therapist (LGBTQ+ service)

We are seeking an experienced Counsellor/Therapist to join our team at WhereToTalk. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the mental health support needs of LGBTQ+ young people and be confident in engaging with young people in a supportive, affirmative, and non-judgemental way.

The role will involve delivering individual and group therapeutic interventions in-person and online, and working closely with our team to ensure high quality and consistent delivery in line with KPIs and outcome frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group therapeutic interventions in-person and online
  • Work closely with our team to ensure high quality and consistent delivery
  • Have a strong understanding of the mental health support needs of LGBTQ+ young people

Requirements:

  • Relevant recognised qualifications in the field of therapy, counselling/therapy
  • Accredited or registered member of a professional body
  • Experience of delivering individual and group therapeutic interventions
