Counsellor on Placement

Counsellors on Placement with Place2Be provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools, adhering to the BACP ethical framework of good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. This role is an excellent opportunity to improve the mental health and well-being of the children we work with.\
We provide a high level of support to counsellors on placement, including regular supervision, tailored training workshops, and a well-recognised clinical placement.\
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic support to children and young people in a school setting
- Work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling
- Attend regular supervision and training sessions

Qualifications and Experience:\
- Fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist
- Or studying towards one of these professions at Level 4 or above
