Job Title: Deputy Surgical Ward Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Surgical Ward Manager to join our team at The Healthcare Hub.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist the Ward Manager in the overall management of the ward, including staffing, budget management, and policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the nursing team in delivering high standards of care, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance processes.
  • Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers in coordination with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Mental Health Nursing.
  • Active NMC Pin.
  • Experience in Acute Mental Health.
