About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Surgical Ward Manager to join our team at Priory Hospital Preston. As a senior nursing leader, you will provide clinical supervision and support to the ward nursing team, working closely with the Ward Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a degree of clinical experience and leadership expertise, with a strong track record of providing senior nursing leadership and clinical supervision. You will be a First Level Registered Nurse (RMN) with experience in Acute Mental Health, and a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior nursing leadership and clinical supervision to the ward nursing team
  • Work closely with the Ward Manager to develop and implement nursing strategies and policies
  • Lead and motivate the nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
Requirements
  • First Level Registered Nurse (RMN) qualification
  • Experience in Acute Mental Health
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong clinical supervision and leadership skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
