Deputy Ward Manager Opportunity

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our client's team in Preston, England. As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will play a crucial role in the management and treatment of acute mental ill health and eating disorders.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing, with a current active NMC Pin. You will be responsible for facilitating education, clinical practices, and audit, as well as managing the clinical area in the absence of the manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within agreed parameters.
  • Identifying and contributing to others' training needs.
  • Ensuring the promotion of issues of equality, diversity, and rights in accordance with good practice and legislation.
  • Experience in Acute Mental Health.

The successful Deputy Ward Manager will receive a competitive salary of £43,014 - £46,314 per annum, as well as a range of benefits including comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and free on-site parking.
