Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current active NMC Pin to take on a leadership role within our hospital. You will be responsible for managing the clinical area in the absence of the manager and overseeing the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within agreed parameters.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and experience in clinical supervision, as well as a strong understanding of local, national policies, and legislation governing current service provision. If you have a passion for mentoring and leadership, this could be the perfect role for you.

The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of post-registration experience and a commitment to ongoing professional development. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £43,014 - £46,314 per annum, plus a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free on-site parking, and comprehensive induction and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate education, clinical practices, and audit within the ward
  • Manage the clinical area in the absence of the manager
  • Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care

Requirements
  • Clinical supervision experience essential
  • Good computer skills
  • Experience in Acute Mental Health desirable
  • At least 18 months post-registration experience preferred
