We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at a leading mental health hospital in Preston, Lancashire.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position that requires a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current active NMC Pin. As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will be responsible for the facilitation, promotion, and supervision of education, clinical practices, and audit.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the clinical area in the absence of the manager.
- Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within agreed parameters.
- Identify and contribute to others' training needs.
- Ensure the promotion of issues of equality, diversity, and rights in accordance with good practice and legislation.
- Clinical supervision experience is essential.
- Good computer skills are required.
- Experience in Acute Mental Health is preferred.
- An excellent salary of £43,014 - £46,314 per annum.
