About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Work Area Manager to lead a team of employees in a busy mail centre. As a Work Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing operations in a specified area, ensuring that all operational targets are met, and providing a high-quality service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a dedicated team of full and part-time employees
- Hold regular one-to-one and team meetings to review performance and plans
- Champion health and safety initiatives and identify areas for improvement
- Support the Shift Manager in providing a high-quality service to customers
- Manage team's sick absence, attendance, training, and development
We are looking for candidates who are flexible, can work under pressure, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. As a leader within the business, you must demonstrate evidence of the following:
