Work Area Manager

Join Royal Mail as a Work Area Manager - Late Shift and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and operational skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing operations in a specified area, ensuring the highest level of customer service and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a dedicated team of full and part-time employees, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent performance.
- Hold regular one-to-one and team meetings to review performance, set goals, and identify areas for improvement.
- Champion health and safety initiatives, increasing efficiency, and identifying opportunities for growth and development.
- Support the Shift Manager in providing a high-quality service to our customers, ensuring all operational targets are met.
- Manage team's sick absence, attendance, training, and development, and contribute to our program of continuous improvement.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong operational skills, with experience in managing teams and driving efficiency.
- Ability to work under pressure, with a flexible approach to meet changing customer needs.
- Knowledge of health and safety initiatives and a commitment to championing them.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
